MEET THE GROUP
Hi, my name's Jess. This is my third trip to the Edinburgh Fringe with Pitch Purple. I can't wait! Obviously I love singing, but I love dance too, especially ballet and live performance. I hope that you enjoy our shows!
Hi, I’m Rosie, and I love anything and everything music! From a cappella and choirs to orchestral ensembles and composition, I throw myself at it all! I’m super excited to be back at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with Pitch Purple this year and can’t wait to get performing our show set!
Hi I’m Bronwen! I love everything to do with music including singing (as much as possible), playing piano, percussion and composing for fun. My other hobbies are: photography, writing poetry, skateboarding and lacrosse. It will be my first time going to the Edinburgh Fringe this year and I look forward to spending time with the rest of the group!
I’m Libby, really excited to have joined pitch purple this year & to have this opportunity to sing in the Festival for the first time. I love playing piano, trumpet, guitar & also enjoy lacrosse and cricket. If I have any time left I love making cookies and cuddling my three cats.
Hi I’m Alex and I sing second soprano in the group! This is my second year at the Fringe with Pitch Purple and I couldn’t be more excited. Music is something I am incredibly passionate about with singing being a favourite hobby along with others, from playing clarinet in my jazz band to playing drum kit at home. As well as music, my other interests include languages and travel. I hope you enjoy watching our show as much as I do performing in it!
Hi, I’m Sarisha. This is my thirdyear in Pitch Purple as a 2nd soprano. I’ve been singing in a cappella for 2 years now and in choirs for longer. My favourite genre of music is RnB and I play the flute and piano too. When I’m not doing music, I enjoy reading.
I’m Francesca and I'm 17. I love singing, not only a cappella but in choirs and I love musical theatre! As well as music I also love history, photography, ballet and art. I'm so excited to be returning to the fringe with Pitch Purple for a third year.
Hi, my name is Maysa and apart from singing or beatboxing for Pitch Purple I enjoy drawing and wasting time playing video games. I was part of last year's pitch purple roster and am excited to perform again this year.
Hi! I’m Alessia, I’m 15, and I’m an alto 1. I’m super excited to have joined this amazing group this year as this will be my first time in all the years I’ve visited the Edinburgh Fringe, that I’ll actually be performing in it too! Some of my hobbies other than singing include drama, playing the guitar and ukulele, and gymnastics (which I have participated in for 11 years and even had the chance to represent England at an international competition last November!)
Hi! I’m Isabella - an alto 1! I am so excited to be performing in the Fringe with Pitch Purple, for the first time, this summer. Some of my favourite things to do, besides singing of course, are dancing and acting, which is why I am a big musicals fan. I can’t wait to get to know the group better!
Hi, I'm Coco and although I have been singing in a cappella groups for five years this is going to be my second time at the fringe and I'm so excited. As well as singing I love to arrange songs and I play the violin and piano.
Hi, I’m Lila! I joined Pitch Purple this year. I love singing and am an alto in choir and a cappella. I’ve had so much fun preparing for The Edinburgh Fringe with the rest of Pitch Purple and can’t wait to perform!
Hi! My name is Zoe and I’m an Alto 2 in Pitch Purple. I’m so excited to be performing at the Fringe for the first time this year; so excited, in fact, that I asked my friends to cut me a real fringe! I love playing the piano as well as singing at every possible opportunity - from the bath to the beach to my Biology lessons.
Hi, I’m Mila and I’m an alto 2 in Pitch Purple and this will be my first time at the Edinburgh Fringe, which I’m really excited about. Apart from singing in a cappella groups and choirs, I also love drama (from theatre to musical theatre). I also play the cello and piano and love to compose and arrange in my spare time. When I’m not singing or acting, I’m either listening to more music or learning new languages.
